Announcement of Speakers in the Sharing Sessions at the Great Teacher Summit (GTS) 2024
We are thrilled to unveil the latest addition to our stellar lineup of speakers for the Great Teacher Summit. Great Teacher Summit is a comprehensive seminar organised in conjunction with the Science Castle in Asia (SCA) 2024 for teachers and educators that features captivating talks by influential speakers, enlightening panel discussions that delve into critical issues in education, interactive sharing sessions where educators can learn from each other's experiences, and immersive workshops that provide hands-on learning opportunities and enhance teaching methodologies.
SHARING SESSIONS
The session aims to bring together educators from across Asia to exchange insights and best practices. The session will focus on ASIAN Synergy: Building Resilient STEM Ecosystems. This sharing session will explore the profound impact of collective initiatives within the ASIAN community, uncovering the transformative power that emerges when diverse cultures converge in STEM education. We will unveil innovative solutions that address shared challenges, envisioning a future where the STEM ecosystems of ASIAN nations stand resilient, interconnected, and poised to nurture the unique potential of each nation. This session serves as a gateway to the convergence of cultures, ideas, and aspirations, collectively shaping the foundation for robust STEM landscapes that will endure for generations to come.

Dr. Satomi Maeda holds an academic background in Human Factors Psychology from Wright State University and worked as an Academic Advisor in the Psychology Department from 2015 to 2018. She has been with Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. since 2010 and is currently involved in the H&R Development Division and Global Platform Development Division. Since May 2018, she has served as the Director of the Education Research Center.
Dr. Nor’aida Khairuddin

Dr. Nor’Aida Khairuddin is an academic lecturer at the Department of Science, IPG Campus Temenggong Ibrahim Johor. She holds a B.Sc. in Physics from UPM, an M.Sc. in Physics from UTM, and a Ph.D. in Measurement and Evaluation from UTM. She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Physics and the Malaysian Psychometric Association. She has served in various academic and administrative roles, including at Sekolah Menengah Teknik Sepang, Sekolah Menengah Agama Majlis Agama Islam, and the Malaysian Examinations Syndicates. Dr. Nor’Aida actively contributes to academic research, writing, and psychometric validation for local institutions.

Farhan Fikri Safii was born on February 7, 1992, in Malang. He holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya. Currently, Farhan works as a Chemistry teacher and researcher at SMA Progresif Bumi Shalawat in Sidoarjo. With a strong academic background and extensive teaching experience, Farhan is recognized for his dedication to fostering students' potential in the field of science, particularly chemistry. In addition to teaching, he actively engages in research, focusing on educational innovations and the application of chemistry in everyday life.
Mr. Romnick M. Ureta,

Mr. Romnick M. Ureta is a Master Teacher II and STEM research coordinator at Bansud National High School-MIMAROPA Regional Science High School. He holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Mindoro State University. He joined MIMAROPA RSHS in 2013 and became a Master Teacher in 2017. Mr. Ureta is known for his innovative research and has received multiple awards. He was named the Most Outstanding Master Teacher in the MIMAROPA Region in 2018. Furthermore, he has achieved recognition in both regional and national invention contests. His work in Mathematics education, and materials sciences focused on biopolymers, has been published internationally.
