Meet the Keynote at Science Castle in Asia 2024: A Visionary Leader Inspiring the Future of Science

Cyberjaya [7 October 2024] – The keynote for Science Castle in Asia centers on an extraordinary individual whose journey exemplifies resilience, innovation, and leadership, aiming to inspire students across Asia. Last year, we had the honor of welcoming Dr. Amani Salim, who shared her remarkable experience as a scientist working with NASA. This year, we are excited to introduce another influential figure, whose story will undoubtedly ignite inspiration and motivate young scientists throughout the region.

Kapten Kehormat James, the keynote speaker for this year’s event, has defied expectations throughout his life. From struggling with dyslexia as a student to becoming a Guinness World Record holder as the youngest pilot to complete a solo flight around the world in a single-engine aircraft, Captain James’s story is one of sheer perseverance. His achievements as a pilot, national champion, and successful businessman reflect his passion for pushing boundaries and exploring new frontiers.

As the keynote speaker, Kapten Kehormat James will inspire the next generation of scientists, innovators, and leaders by sharing his experiences, challenges, and insights. His story of overcoming adversity, coupled with his dedication to innovation, will serve as a powerful reminder to all participants that no dream is too big and no challenge insurmountable.
