NEST Workshop: The Ocean Science Lab is coming to you this school holiday!

Leave a Nest Malaysia is excited to announce the NEST Workshop: The Ocean Science Lab, a fun-filled and hands-on school holiday workshop happening on 18 September 2025 (Thursday).

This program is designed to spark curiosity in young learners by taking them on a submarine-themed science adventure, where they will explore DNA, ocean chemistry, and the electricity that powers submarines beneath the waves.

Workshop highlights:

Participants will join the junior submarine crew and discover science through engaging activities:

1. 1. DNA Discovery
  Extract and observe real DNA from fruits, and learn how DNA makes every living organism unique.
2. 2. Ocean Chemistry
  Explore the mysteries of the sea through hands-on experiments, including testing pH with natural indicators.
3. 3. Submarine Power
  Uncover how electricity flows and powers submarine through interactive experiments with circuits and conductive materials.

Workshop details:

- Date: 18 September 2025 (Thursday)
- Time: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Location: Centre of Garage, CoPlace 10, Cyberjaya
- Target Audience: +/- 9–12 years old students
- Fee: RM75/pax OR RM70/pax (group registration– so let your friend know too!)
- Meals, materials and certificate of participation will be provided
