Three Inspiring Days at SWITCH 2025

Deep Tech Collaboration Accelerates Between Japan and Southeast Asia
Singapore, 1 November 2025 — Leave a Nest Singapore (LVNS SG) extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who visited our booth during the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2025, held from 29–31 October at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.
Over three vibrant days, the booth became a knowledge hub where government officials, startups, ecosystem builders, researchers, and corporations came together to explore collaboration opportunities. The discussions reflected a shared passion for advancing deep tech innovation and solving real-world challenges through science and technology from Singapore to beyond.
Many visitors discovered new partners and potential business opportunities, while others realized that Singapore offers far greater potential as a launchpad for regional expansion than they had originally imagined. These encounters reaffirmed the importance of being on the ground to experience the ecosystem firsthand, a central principle behind the GIA Tokyo “Enter to Singapore Market” Programme.
The exhibiting startups—endorsed by Enterprise Singapore under the GIA programme and supported by Leave a Nest Singapore—presented technologies spanning advanced materials, clean energy, healthcare, and food innovation. Each company engaged in meaningful conversations that we hope will grow into concrete collaborations across the regions of Southeast Asia and beyond.
As SWITCH 2025 concludes, Leave a Nest Singapore reaffirms its mission to build knowledge hub that connect researchers, startups, corporations, and governments. Through initiatives such as the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) Tokyo Programme, TECH PLANTER, and the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference, we will continue to nurture ecosystems that empower deep-tech entrepreneurs to advance science and technology for global happiness.
Meet the 2025 GIA Startups
(As introduced in our pre-event announcement)
- CAST Inc. — Film-type, high-temperature piezoelectric sensors and monitoring systems for hard-to-access industrial assets.
- HYDRONEXT Inc. — Vanadium-membrane technology that extracts ultra-high-purity hydrogen from mixed gases in compact, lower-cost devices.
- Molmir Inc. — Molecular-dynamics / phase-separation platform targeting “moving” molecules to unlock next-generation therapeutics.
- NINZIA Inc. — Food-texture innovation using konjac dietary fiber to help everyone enjoy food safely and comfortably.
- Toymedical — sodium‑control know‑how and products (e.g., salt‑adsorbing powder) that preserve taste while reducing sodium.
Additional 2 startups Leave a Nest group invited to exhibit this time around included below
- Industry Alpha – low‑profile autonomous mobile robots and fleet‑management software that automate material transport in factories and warehouses using SLAM navigation.
- OryLab – avatar telepresence robots (OriHime series) and eye‑tracking tools that enable remote participation in work, school, and daily life for people with mobility limitations.
Together, these seven startups represent Japan’s new generation of deep-tech entrepreneurs—scientists and engineers translating research into businesses that contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future.
