Objectives

The GTS 2025 program is meticulously crafted to achieve the following objectives:

  • To foster excellence in teaching methods including the promotion and use of technology and multidisciplinary strategies to make lessons more compelling and enriching.
  • To facilitate peer-to-peer learning and networking by providing a platform for educators to connect, share their best practices and experiences, and learn from each other.
  • To enhance professional development via the promotion of continuous self-enhancement and professional growth among teachers.

In line with the goals outlined in the Malaysian Education Blueprint (2013-2025), it is imperative to cultivate world-class capabilities among teachers, as they play a fundamental role in delivering effective teaching and learning experiences.

Consequently, it becomes essential to nurture well-rounded students possessing a spectrum of skills and attributes, such as knowledge acquisition, critical thinking abilities, leadership prowess, bilingual proficiency, ethical grounding, spiritual development, and a robust sense of national identity.
