TECH PLANTER in the Philippines 2018 Received 35 Entries!
TECH PLANTER in the Philippines has started from last year in 2017. We have been working to support startups from the Philippines by constructing an ecosystem for Real-Tech startups (startups that works on technology that requires physical development such as Bio-tech, Deep-tech, Agri-tech and etc). Last year we have gathered 29 applicants from wide range of fields.
This year, we are running our 2nd TECH PLANTER in the Philippines again and in total of 35 teams have applied to our program. Teams are comprised from researchers from top universities from the Philippines and startups that are already actively working.
Leave a Nest will select top 12 entries for TECH PLAN DEMO DAY. Selection will be done through documents checking, due-diligence and interviews. Finalists will be mentored by seasoned Leave a Nest members in preparation for TECH PLAN DEMO DAY that is scheduled to be held on 26th May 2018 at QBO Innovation Hub at Makati.
Finalists will get the golden opportunity to pitch their ideas to corporate partners from Japan and local mentors. Winner of TECH PLANTER in the Philippines will receive JPY300k and a chance to represent the country in final regional round of TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in Singapore (return airfares and accommodation will be fully covered).
