Leave a Nest Singapore successfully conducted TECH VENTURE MEETUP in THAILAND 2019

Leave a Nest Singapore held the TECH VENTURE MEETUP in THAILAND 2019 last Saturday, 21st November 2019.
The initiative is based on TECH PLANTER program in ASEAN which focuses on Real-Tech over the past 4 years, with the aim to create an ecosystem where guest startups, alumni startups from our programmes in Thailand, partner companies from local and overseas will gather to create investment opportunities and possible collaboration work. We hope to further accelerate one another’s businesses and coordinate research possibility.

The Programme started with opening remarks from Leave a Nest Singapore managing Director Dr Kihoko Tokue, followed by introductions from Urano-san of TOPPAN Printing Co., Ltd and Fukutomi-san of Zendai Kogyo Co., Ltd. who joined the 2 days deep tech tour of Thailand preceding the event A total of 11 startups pitched this time around. We’re honoured to have guest startups from Malaysia and the Philippines to pitch at our event this time around; Dr Nur Ainaa from Synbion Sdn Bhd, and Dr Lyn Corpuz, from Nanolabs LRC Co., Ltd. The participants were able to connect with one another, as well as the participating companies during the booth exhibition. Following was a panel discussion session about prototyping challenges faced by Deep Tech start-ups, as well as a special segment conducted by Ms Kamonphan Minjoy from Yusarn Audrey IP Services (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

 

 

Thanks to the continued support from our partners and participating startups, we would not have been able to successfully conduct this event. Together with the community, we will continue our efforts to contribute to the ecosystem and support real-tech startups in Thailand through Leave a Nest programs.
