LEAVE A NEST MALAYSIA’S MEMBERS VISITED PETRONAS SCIENCE FESTIVAL@KUALA LUMPUR
On 17th September 2017, Leave a Nest Malaysia's members, Hakim and Fatin visited Petronas Science Festival @ Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, KLCC Kuala Lumpur. Here we share some of our experience and thought during the events.
Petronas Science Festival is the largest science-themed festival in the country that is organised by PETROSAINS, a Science Discovery Centre under PETRONAS BERHAD.
With the tagline ,” Little Plan for the BIG planet”, the objectives of the program are to inspire love and interest towards science and promoting sustainable lifestyle to the society as the plan to save our beloved Earth.
There were various exciting exhibitions,workshops, games and performances that can be joined by visitors according to their ages. The students looked excited doing robotics programming, solving games and testing drones.

Our TECH PLANTER's alumni company, My Conceptual Robotics (MyCRO) Sdn.Bhd also showcasing their 3D printers and attracted a lot of visitors to their booth.

As what we could see from the outstanding numbers of visitors, we could say that Malaysian's society is really into science and technologies. There were hundreds of school coming from different places even outside of KL just to join the festival. Parents also brought their kids and sending them to join various science and education workshops provided during the event.

We hope the children will embrace their passion towards science and grow up to become a great scientist, roboticist and great inventor or innovator in future.
Leave a Nest as a science-based company always think on how to nurture young generations especially towards science education. We have SCIENCE CASTLE as the platform to gather young researchers from secondary school and present about their ideas of science research and innovations. We also conducted various kind of original Science workshop at schools and Science Festivals in order to attract the interest of primary students toward science.
On 18th March 2018 , Leave a Nest Malaysia will organise SCIENCE CASTLE in MALAYSIA 2018 for the first time. It will be an exciting program where we will see various of young scientist, researchers, innovators from secondary schools that will be gathered together in one platform to exchange research ideas and innovations.
