Winner of TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in MALAYSIA 2018 is NMACom InnoTech
Leave a Nest conducted its fourth TECH PLAN DEMO in MALAYSIA on 12th May 2018.
Out of 39 applications, 12 finalists have been selected to present their business projects to panel of judges from Leave a Nest, JT, Mitsui Chemicals Singapore R&D Centre Pte. Ltd., MTDC, SME Corp. Malaysia, ITMA and MPM.
Team NMACom InnoTech from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) won the Grand Winner prize for their innovative solution on nano-magnetic adsorbent composite as an alternative for biocarbon-based treatment agent for water and waste-water treatment. NMACom InnoTech received JPY300,000 cash prize, return airfares and accommodation for 2 team members to join TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in SINGAPORE 2018 in the final regional round.
Three more awards were given by the judges (please refer to below for details). Leave a Nest will provide continuous support for winners and finalists to accelerate their projects.

The event opened with a welcoming remarks from Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Manager, Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., followed by keynote presentation by Dr. Yoshinori Mizuguchi, Director COO of Metabologenomics, Inc. Grand Winner of TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in MALAYSIA 2017, represented by Mr. Khairul Izdihar Ismail, CEO of ACeT Innovates Sdn. Bhd. delivered second keynote presentation.
