Leave a Nest team had a great session in Indonesia last week!

Last week, Leave a Nest team were in Indonesia attending Forum Nasional Inkubator Bisnis Teknologi and conducted an information session for next year TECH PLANTER in Indonesia in three different places.

Dr. Kihoko Tokue, managing director of Leave a Nest Singapore was one of the speakers in the Forum Nasional Inkubator Bisnis Teknologi held in Ayana Midplaza Jakarta on 3-4 December 2018 organized by Asosiasi Inkubator Bisnis Indonesia (AIBI) and Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. This forum session discussed on what kind of international incubator development programs available in each speakers organization. The other speakers in this forum are Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Director of Business Incubation of Agriculture High Technology Vietnam, Mr. Max Weber, ASEAN Head AETP, Dato’ Norhalim bin Yunus, CEO of MTDC and were moderated by Prof. Hadi K Purwadaria from AIBI.

In Dr. Kihoko presentation, she mentioned the ecosystems that we have in Leave a Nest to support startups which is TECH PLANTER, a real tech acceleration program. TECH PLANTER program focuses on innovative real technology such as biotech, agritech, robotics, IoT, energy, medical, raw materials and others which can solve wicked problems faced by local communities. The TECH PLANTER ecosystem support startups prototyping needs by providing seed funding and access to the famous Japanese manufacturer.

On top of that, our visit to Indonesia last week also to conduct TECH PLANTER briefing session. We successfully conducted the briefing session in 3 places which are at Block71, Universitas Indonesia and Bogor Agriculture University. It was an honor to meet passionate startups, researchers, and students and heard about their research project and products. Therefore, we would like to extend our gratitude to the host and all attendees that come to the briefing session.
