Leave a Nest Malaysia and University of Padjadjaran Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Foster Innovation and Research Collaboration
Leave a Nest Malaysia, a leading global science and technology company, and the University of Padjadjaran, a prestigious higher education institution in Indonesia, are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen their collaboration in the areas of innovation, research, and entrepreneurship.
The MOU signing ceremony took place on 17th May 2023 at Pertamina Building Level 2. Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran in Bandung, Indonesia. Esteemed representatives from both organizations, including Dean of Faculty of Economic and Business University of Padjadjaran (FEB UNPAD), Professor Nunuy Nur Afiah, Professor Tomy Perdana from UNPAD's Faculty of Economy and Business, and Mr. Nur Ahmad Zaim from Leave a Nest Malaysia, witnessed the momentous occasion.
The partnership between Leave a Nest Malaysia and the University of Padjadjaran aims to promote and facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and resources between the two organizations. During the ceremony, Professor Tomy Perdana delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of strengthening the academic and innovation ecosystem. He stated, “Through this collaboration, we aim to improve academic activities for business and industry in Bandung and Indonesia. Corporate collaboration with the Faculty of Economy and Business is particularly aimed at enhancing international activities for UNPAD, with the goal of positioning ourselves among the top 100 universities in the world. We look forward to a productive partnership and will work diligently to achieve these objectives.”
Professor Nunuy Nur Afiah expressed the significance of international cooperation and stressed the importance of collaboration to maintain national and interactive partnerships. She highlighted the benefits of joining hands with Leave a Nest Malaysia, stating, “We believe that cooperation with international partners is vital for our growth and development. This partnership with Leave a Nest Malaysia will provide us with valuable opportunities to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and create impactful initiatives for the benefit of our communities.”
Mr. Nur Ahmad Zaim, representing Leave a Nest Malaysia, expressed his excitement about the first MOU signing with an Indonesian university. He highlighted the organization's commitment to nurturing a technopreneur mindset among researchers and students, as well as the mission of bringing technology from universities to society. He said, “We are thrilled to embark on this partnership with UNPAD, as it aligns with our vision of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
