Experiencing Drone Flying First-hand: Post-NEST Workshop in collaboration with Alphaswift Sdn Bhd

Cyberjaya, Malaysia [1 March 2024] – The Center of Garage Malaysia hosted an exciting one-day workshop on the TELLO Drone as part of the interactive NEST Workshop series. On 20th February 2024, six enthusiastic students dove into the exciting world of drone technology.

The workshop was a result of a fruitful collaboration between the Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and Alphaswift Sdn. Bhd., an innovator in drone technology. It offered a multidimensional curriculum that included an introduction to drone technologies, a unique industrial visit to Alphaswift's office, and, most excitingly, a hands-on drone-piloting session.

A recurring highlight of the day was the passion and expertise demonstrated by Dr. Shian Lee, the CEO of Alphaswift, who expressed his enthusiasm for the burgeoning interest in drone technology among students. Dr. Lee stated that they look forward to creating more workshops like this, especially during school holidays, to engage, inspire, and equip youth with hands-on experience in this futuristic technology.

The workshop aligns with NEST's hands-on STEM education initiatives, aiming to equip Malaysian youth with in-demand abilities. The TELLO Drone workshop, as part of the NEST Workshop series, underlines Center of Garage Malaysia's (CoGMY) continuous commitment to bringing world-class, innovative, and engaging workshops to stimulate and satisfy the curiosity of our future innovators.
