Leave a Nest brings a Japanese startup to Create a Business Collaboration in Malaysia at a Deep Tech Tour event.

From May 16th to 17th, 2024, Leave a Nest Group organized a Deep Tech Tour in Malaysia, bringing together five Japanese startups, corporations, and universities to create a new business collaboration.

This Deep Tech Tour aimed to support Japanese delegates in understanding the deep tech ecosystem in Malaysia as well as to explore aquaculture and water-related issues and technologies. During the tour, participants gained insights into Malaysia's current developments through visits to local government agencies, companies, university incubators, and startups.

On the final day, the tour participants witnessed the 10th TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in MALAYSIA, where they were able to listen to innovative project pitching from local startups and researchers. Through this participation as well, they can explore potential collaborations with startups and researchers in the TECH PLANTER ecosystem.

The Deep Tech Tour is a unique platform for business professionals, startups, government agencies, and researchers to explore and understand complex issues in different countries. It offers opportunities to discover new business prospects and build networks. Leave a Nest has previously conducted tours in Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the US, and the UK. Each country offers unique cultural experiences and challenges, giving delegates a deeper understanding of their host nation.

Leave a Nest's business bridge communicators facilitate visits to business entities, government agencies, research universities, and the entrepreneurial community, highlighting their strengths and characteristics. This helps participants identify suitable business opportunities through diverse approaches.

We would like to invite any foreign startups that are interested in expanding their business in Malaysia and any Malaysia corporates that are eager to have business collaboration with foreign deep tech startups to contact us!
