Venture Spotlight : A Platform Connecting Bumiputera Startups with Investors and Corporate Partners

In a significant move to support Bumiputera entrepreneurs, Leave a Nest is supporting TERAJU to organize the Venture Spotlight pitching event, a platform designed to connect growth-stage Bumiputera-owned businesses with investors and corporate partners. The event offers a platform for Bumiputera entrepreneurs to pitch their innovative ideas and solutions, fostering business growth and long-term success.

Venture Spotlight is industry-agnostic, welcoming Bumiputera-owned startups and entrepreneurs from various sectors, including technology, manufacturing, and services. The event invites both local and international investors, as well as corporate entities, to explore high-potential investment opportunities and potential partnerships with promising Bumiputera-led businesses.

The goal of Venture Spotlight is to provide Bumiputera entrepreneurs with the exposure and resources they need to scale their businesses while facilitating meaningful connections between startups, investors, and corporates. The event aims to create a supportive and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem that empowers Bumiputera businesses. Through this initiative, Bumiputera-led startups can present their ideas to targeted audiences, gain visibility, and access critical resources that will accelerate their growth. 

As part of their collaboration, Leave a Nest is assisting TERAJU in recruiting startups and will conduct a “Pitching Clinic” to help entrepreneurs refine their presentations ahead of the event. Leave a Nest is also supporting TERAJU in inviting corporate leaders and venture capitalists to attend, ensuring a diverse and engaged audience.
