Cyberjaya, Malaysia — February, 12 — Leave a Nest Malaysia is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Science Castle Grant Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Award, as well as Science Castle Malaysia 2025 and Science Castle Asia 2025. These initiatives aim to empower young scientists from secondary and high schools (ages 13-18) to pursue innovative research, connect with like-minded peers, and showcase their discoveries on national and international platforms.
Science Castle Grant Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Award (Malaysia only)
Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad, in partnership with Leave a Nest, invites young researchers from high schools across Malaysia to submit research proposals focused on key issues related to food, the environment, and sustainability.
Ten selected teams will receive a grant worth RM 2,000 each to support their research projects, conducted over a period of five months. Throughout this period, students will be guided by mentors from Leave a Nest and Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad. The final research outcomes will be presented at Science Castle Asia 2025, a prestigious conference for high school students across Asia, scheduled for October 2025 in Cyberjaya.

Science Castle Series 2025
The Science Castle Series is a research conference platform for secondary and high school students (ages 13–18) to present their scientific projects. It fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation, connecting young researchers with peers, educators, and industry experts across Asia.
Science Castle Malaysia 2025

Open to: Secondary and high school students across Malaysia
Science Castle Malaysia 2025 provides a dynamic platform for young researchers from Malaysia to present their work, gain feedback from experts, and collaborate with peers nationwide. Students can qualify for either oral or poster presentations based on the selection process.
Science Castle Asia 2025
Date: 18-19 October 2025
Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia (TBA)
Open to: All secondary and high school students across Asia
Science Castle Asia 2025 is an international conference where selected research projects from across Asia will be showcased. This event offers participants a unique opportunity to engage with diverse scientific communities, fostering cross-border collaborations and the exchange of ideas.
