Leave a Nest was in The Philippines Once Again!
Leave a Nest was in the Philippines again from 27th February to 1st March last week! We were honored to have met and shared our flagship program, TECH PLANTER and the benefits of joining, which includes gaining access to the global network we have at leave a nest to students, researchers and budding entrepreneurs from various universities and incubators with inspiring research and technologies.
At the University of the Philippines Los Baños, we spoke to researchers from the said universities as well as those from universities in the southern parts of the country who have traveled to UPLB.
On 28th February, we visited Brainsparks and ideaspace Foundation. Mr. Artie Lopez from Brainsparks and Ms. Diane Eustaquio from ideaspace Foundation gave us very insightful overviews of the Philippines startup tech ecosystem and the direction it is heading towards.
The team also attended the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) 4.0 Project at UPSCALE Innovation Hub at UP Diliman on Friday, 1st March. Representatives from UP Diliman cohort were present as well, namely Cagayan State University and the University of the Cordilleras.
We were honored to have the opportunity to speak to students and representatives from various universities and incubators about leave a nest and our program. The students and researchers took the opportunity to talk about their projects and share the unique features of their technologies and the type of social issue they wish to solve in the country.
