Leave a Nest Philippines proudly announces the launch of TECH PLANTER in the Philippines 2025 (TP PH 2025), marking its 9th year of empowering deep tech researchers, startups, entrepreneurs, and ecosystems since it commenced here in the country last 2017.
TECH PLANTER serves as a platform for solving real-world challenges through innovative technologies, connecting researchers, engineers, and startups with partners for prototyping, business matching, and market entry opportunities.

Highlights from 2024
The 2024 Demo Day demonstrated the incredible talent and innovation in the Philippines. Filrobotics Technologies, Inc. emerged as the Grand Winner for their AGROTIS Navigation System, an autonomous tractor navigation technology designed to enhance agricultural efficiency. This achievement earned them invaluable opportunities for mentorship, potential partnerships, and direct engagement with industry leaders to bring their innovation closer to commercialization.
Other outstanding teams were recognized with special awards:
- Dali Innovative Solutions Inc. received the Leave a Nest Award for their promising contributions to sustainability and clean energy.
- Team HESS won the Focus Systems Award, gaining access to technological support and collaboration prospects.
- Bambuhay and other teams, including BellyBond and LITHOS Manufacturing OPC, were commended with specialized awards that enabled funding opportunities, mentorship programs, and connections with industry experts.
These awards provided not only financial incentives but also strategic guidance and business matching opportunities with global and local stakeholders. Teams were able to leverage these benefits to enhance their prototypes, explore new markets, and accelerate their path toward tangible impact.

Through this program, Leave a Nest is aiming to provide more collaborations with deep tech researchers and inventors with our network of local and foreign companies eager to nurture the next generation of technology solutions solving deeply-rooted social issues. The TECH PLANTER deep tech ecosystem has created an almost 3000-strong startup network coming from Japan, South East Asian nations (Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia) and even Western regions like the United Kingdom and we are excited to find more passionate individuals and teams in solving global issues!
Over the years, Filipino startups under the TECH PLANTER ecosystem were supported to secure in-house investments and local and foreign collaborations through their investment arms, industry partners and vast academic network. Additionally, since its inception, it has awarded more than 2 million Philippine pesos and other in-kind perks brought by the local and global partners from the previous Demo Days. Local and foreign innovation-driven companies and organizations ranging from telecommunication industry to incubators come in as partners and judges to further help forward-thinking entrepreneurs through TP.
