TECH PLANTER in the Philippines 2025 Caravan Makes Its First Stop!
METRO MANILA – Leave a Nest Philippines announces the date of first stop of the TECH PLANTER Philippines Caravan for 2025. We will be holding the Virtual Information Session on January 24, 2025 to introduce the TECH PLANTER in the Philippines 2025 (TP PH 2025)! This program is a key step in our ongoing mission to empower deep-tech researchers, startups, and entrepreneurs to address real-world challenges through groundbreaking innovations.
This virtual info session is just the beginning! The TECH PLANTER Caravan will soon visit universities across the Philippines, where we will host in-person information sessions to reach more aspiring innovators. Stay tuned as we announce the dates and locations of these university stops in the coming weeks!
What is TECH PLANTER?
TECH PLANTER, launched in 2014, is Leave a Nest Group’s flagship deep-tech startup platform designed to support researchers and startups with breakthrough ideas to address deep-rooted societal and environmental issues. Operating across six ASEAN countries, this platform has nurtured over 1,400 startups and research teams to date.
Through TECH PLANTER, startups gain access to:
- Mentorship in commercialization, business strategy, and intellectual property.
- Connections to ecosystem partners, including academia and industry leaders.
- Opportunities for investment and collaboration with Japanese corporations!
(Previous partners are industry leaders such as Mitsubishi Electric, TOYOTA, KYOCERA Corporation, and others)
About the Information Session
During these online session, participants will:
- Learn about Leave a Nest’s initiatives and the TECH PLANTER program.
- Meet, learn, and ask questions directly to our TECH PLANTER Alumni!
- Gain insights into the application process, selection criteria, timeline, and awards and opportunities provided by TP PH 2025.
- Participate in a live demo of the application submission process to ensure clarity.
- Have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the organizing team.
These sessions aim to guide potential applicants on how to maximize their participation in TECH PLANTER and join one of the largest deep-tech ecosystems in Asia.
