SCIENCE CASTLE in SINGAPORE 2018: Open Call For Submissions

Leave a Nest Singapore is pleased to announce our SCIENCE CASTLE in SINGAPORE 2018 Open Call! Budding teenage researchers in secondary schools are invited to submit their research work for consideration in our November 2nd to November 3rd International Conference. There is no application fee for project submissions and all applications will be considered for Poster and Oral presentations.

The SCIENCE CASTLE committee welcomes your submissions for panel presentations and scientific posters. The submission period is from April 1, 2018 to August 17, 2018. All submissions should follow the format as stated below and be submitted as a PDF via our Entry Submission Form.

In SCIENCE CASTLE, we believe in developing a platform to nurture and encourage all students to be creative and discover new things, where they can develop their passion and motivations through the projects.
There will be Poster and Oral presentation mentoring sessions to the teams who make it into the finals

Key Dates
Application deadline: August 17, 2018 at 11:59pm SGT
Acceptance notifications: August 27, 2018
Poster and Oral Presentation online sessions: September 1, 2018 to October 25th, 2018

Your project will be considered for the conference as long as the team is able to present findings their findings. If the project is incomplete, you can still apply for the conference with your current findings.
Abstracts will be compiled and made available to participants.

SCIENCE CASTLE in Singapore by Leave a Nest Singapore is an international conference which brings together Junior and Senior High School students to share their research and development projects with a focus on Science, Technology, and Engineering to solve social challenges faced in the ASIA and/or the world in their mission to advance science and technology for global happiness.

We are committed to exposing students to research and technology and nurturing the next generation of leaders in Science and Technology. Whether you have submitted to SCIENCE CASTLE before or it is your first time, we would love to see your work!

 

Project Submission Guidelines

Your document should be in WORD or PDF format (School_Group Name) and size not more than 10MB.

It should include the following information in the following order:

1) Title
2) Abstract
3) Background of the project and real-world issues the team is looking into
4) Hypothesis
5) Method and materials used
6) Results and Discussion
7) The uniqueness of your research
8) The passion/motivation behind doing this research
9) image to describe the project (3:4 horizontal, below 500KB)
