Dr. Kihoko Tokue presented to startups at ASEAN-JAIF ABINet Business Matching

Opening ceremony of ASEAN-JAIF ABINest Business Matching was held at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) on 11  March, 2020. 32 startups from ASEAN region gathered to present business ideas to venture capitalists and accelerators on 12 March. Real Tech Fund and Leave a Nest was invited as a guest speaker and advisor for the event.

Dr. Hadi opened the session with greetings to all participants and delegates from ASEAN region.

Following the opening speech, Mr. Daiki Kumamoto, Real Tech Fund and Dr. Kihoko Tokue, Leave a Nest Singapore Pte. Ltd. gave short presentation to share about their support programs available to startups.

Leave a Nest Singapore has been running TECH PLANTER in South East Asia to support deep tech startups in the region. For local round in Indonesia which started from 2018.  In 2019 grand winner TECH PROM LAB from Indonesia also won the ASEAN regional round in Singapore and went to Tokyo Japan recently to showcase their deep technology to provide solution to recurring flood issues in Indonesia. In addition, this team was also chosen as a team to receive prototyping support from Ota City.

2020, TECH PLANTER will be back calling for application from all over Indonesia for DEMO DAY in INDONESIA which will be on 4 July, 2020 in Jakarta.

Mr. Daiki also gave an advice to startups to keep their presentation message simple, share fundamental passion and point out the unique point of the startups.

We are looking forward to meeting with each startups to learn about what deep issues and deep technology solution they are bringing to the society.
