Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference Singapore Session 1: Ideation to Reality. Knowledge in Prototyping & Production

Innovation is the driving force of advancement of technology. Most of innovation is derived from ideas that apply the research that is done in universities and research centers to problems that plague humanity. However, this process of turning research findings and discoveries into tangible products to be used or replace old products in society is not one that is as straightforward as it sounds.

This session explores the necessary knowledge and processes for transforming research into innovation, from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to precise prototypes. It delves into the art of translating ideas and blueprints into innovations that will benefit society in the future, and value adding by understanding the intent and design behind these innovations.
