Functional Food Session: Novel Ingredients Steeped in Tradition

Leave a Nest Singapore is pleased to announce a panel discussion on Functional Foods at the upcoming Global Knowledge Hub Forum (GKHF) on 20 August 2025.

In aging societies such as Singapore and Japan, increasingly greater emphasis is being placed on the importance of food in maintaining one’s health well into old age. One domain gathering attention is that of functional foods, and novel functional ingredients to help fight common diseases such as diabetes are the targets of much research and innovation efforts.

In this pioneering panel session, we will get to hear from a stellar lineup of panellists in the arena of functional foods, including Morus, a Japanese startup creating instant matcha with novel insect-derived ingredients, and another Japanese startup developing granola infused with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) ingredients. They will be joined by Louken, a leading venture building and brand consultancy. The line-up of panelists will be confirmed at a later date.

We welcome all players in food, functional ingredients, and healthcare to join this panel session. Please click the link below to register your attendance at GKHF!
