A Global Knowledge Hub Forum Session: How AI Sees, Understands, and Transforms Our World

Leave a Nest Singapore is proud to present a special session featuring Ricoh at the upcoming Global Knowledge Hub Forum on 20th August 2025 at NTU Alumni House. This session will explore how AI-powered spatial technologies are reshaping the way industries detect, understand, and solve operational problems in real-world environments.

Today’s industrial sectors face increasingly complex challenges: from aging infrastructure to inefficiencies in logistics, maintenance, and quality control. Traditional approaches are no longer sufficient and this session proposes a bold new solution framework powered by AI spatial viewers.

The session will feature the participation of Mr. Satoshi Yamamoto, Section Manager of Ricoh Innovation Center Asia, who has played a key role in introducing Ricoh’s spatial viewer technology to address challenges across sectors in the ASEAN region. As a driving force behind Ricoh’s efforts to align cutting-edge solutions with real-world operational needs, Mr. Yamamoto brings valuable insight into how AI-powered spatial technologies can be deployed to support transformation in the built environment.

Building on this foundation, the session will explore real-world industry challenges as seen from the ground up, from the perspectives of those working within environments such as manufacturing, logistics, and infrastructure. The programme will include a live pitch segment where selected challenges are presented. Rather than focusing solely on finalised technologies, this session emphasises discovery, insight, and application potential, showcasing how spatial AI tools can be harnessed to tackle persistent operational issues.

Attendees will gain a deeper appreciation of how these emerging technologies can enhance visibility, efficiency, and resilience in physical operations. More than a showcase, this session aims to spark discussion, surface latent needs, and inspire cross-sector thinking on how we see and solve challenges in the built world.
