Leave a Nest America has been discovering and showcasing US deep tech start-ups in and around Silicon Valley through “TECH PLANTER” since 2016. Blue Bear Ventures is a deep tech-focused VC spun out from CITRIS, an accelerator at the University of California, Berkeley, with a mission to implement university-originated technologies in society, not only investing in start-ups but also actively creating businesses with LP companies. It is actively engaged in business creation with LP companies as well as investment in start-ups.
Following on from another online seminar in 2022, we will again be co-hosting a seminar with Blue Bear Ventures and three US deep tech start-ups will take the stage. US deep tech start-ups are advocating expansion into Japan and South East Asia and exploring areas of synergy with Japanese corporates. We look forward to welcoming those interested in trends in the US deep tech ecosystem and collaboration with US start-ups.

Blue Bear Ventures was formed by investors including a founding member of the University of California Berkeley (UCB) accelerator CITRIS, Director of Y Combinator Reseach and an advisor to UCB's Haas business school.
