The 5th GKHF Returning on August 2026!

Leave a Nest Singapore is proud to announce the return of the Global Knowledge Hub Forum (GKHF) on 14 August 2026.

As Singapore continues to strengthen its role as a regional and global innovation hub, GKHF serves as a platform that connects multinational corporations (MNCs), startups, SMEs, researchers, educational institutions, and government organisations from around the world. Through discussions, technology showcases, and direct business matching opportunities, GKHF transforms knowledge into real-world collaboration and business creation.

What is GKHF?

Singapore is widely recognised as a global business hub, with numerous multinational corporations and organisations establishing their regional and global headquarters here. Alongside businesses, these organisations also bring cutting-edge technologies, research capabilities, and market knowledge, making Singapore a true Global Knowledge Hub.

GKHF was created to harness this unique environment by facilitating direct communication and collaboration among global innovation players. The forum enables participants to exchange ideas, discover technologies, and explore opportunities that can lead to partnerships and new ventures.

One of the key features of GKHF is its curated 1-on-1 meeting sessions, where participants engage in focused discussions designed to generate concrete next steps and potential collaborations. In addition, the forum includes panel discussions, startup pitching sessions, exhibition booths, and networking opportunities that encourage cross-border and cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange.

This year, to commemorate the Singapore-Japan 60th Anniversary (SJ60), this event is officially endorsed by the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs!

There will also be an announcement during the event about upcoming events that are related to SJ60.

Highlights from the Previous GKHF

The previous edition of GKHF (Feb 2026) successfully brought together over 115 participants from 7 countries, including representatives from MNCs, startups, SMEs, universities, and government-related organisations.

The event featured:

  • 4 thematic main sessions covering entrepreneurship, healthcare innovation, startup venture building, and global market expansion
  • 19 exhibition booths representing companies and organisations from Singapore, Japan, the UK, and Hungary
  • Extensive 1-on-1 business meetings facilitated by Leave a Nest communicators to spark new collaborations
  • The official launch of the Gut Design Project ASEAN by Metagen Inc. and partners

The event also demonstrated GKHF’s ability to create real business outcomes and international collaborations. Previous editions have already led to multiple partnerships and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Singaporean and Japanese startups.

This year’s edition of GKHF will feature thematic sessions spanning deep tech, food and agriculture, entrepreneurship, environmental innovation, and the financial landscape related to startups in the SEA region.

Participants can look forward to discussions on industry collaboration, sustainable food systems, biotechnology advancements, startup venture building, and climate-focused solutions driving the future of sustainability. Through these sessions, GKHF aims to foster knowledge exchange and create opportunities for cross-border collaboration among global innovation ecosystem players.
