GKHF Panel: Redefining Healthcare : Innovation Through Gut Design

Leave a Nest Singapore is pleased to announce an upcoming panel session titled  “Redefining Healthcare: Innovation Through Gut Design”, to be held as part of the Global Knowledge Hub Forum (GKHF). This panel brings together  Metagen, Inc.  and its consortium partners to explore how advances in gut microbiome science are enabling new approaches to healthcare, nutrition, and disease prevention, and how collaborative innovation is shaping the emerging Gut Design market, with a focus on ASEAN.

About the Panel Session

The panel will feature Metagen, Inc., alongside consortium partners including  Calbee  , sharing insights from their collaborative efforts under Metagen's Gut Design Project (GDP).

Discussions will focus on how gut microbiome research is translated into practical applications, and how cross-industry collaboration, spanning food, nutrition, biotechnology, and research, plays a critical role in designing next-generation healthcare solutions. The session will also serve as the official launch platform for the Gut Design Project (GDP) ASEAN, marking an important milestone in Metagen's regional expansion.

As part of the panel, Calbee will share perspectives from its involvement in gut health innovation, including initiatives such as  Body Granola  , which reflects the company's approach to developing food products informed by gut microbiome insights.

Key Discussion Themes

The panel will explore how Gut Design is redefining approaches to healthcare and prevention, how microbiome science is translated into products, programs, and real-world impact, and the role of industry research collaboration in advancing gut health innovation. It will also highlight learnings from consortium partners such as Calbee in applying microbiome insights, as well as opportunities for companies in ASEAN to participate in the Gut Design Project, including areas such as stratified healthcare and Microbiome × TCM initiatives.

Participants can expect to gain a clearer understanding of how gut microbiome-driven innovation is being implemented in practice, and how organizations can engage with emerging platforms such as Metagen's GDP in ASEAN.
