In partnership with EnterpriseSG, the Enter to Japan Market Discovery Program (Batch 2) is under the Global Innovation Alliance’s Tokyo Acceleration Programme.
We would like to thank all startups for their applications and responses. We are happy to announce the 4 Singapore-based startups selected to participate in the second batch of the Enter to Japan Market Discovery Program.

| Blue Whale Energy | A clean energy startup offering a virtual power plant solution. They install distributed sodium-ion battery packs (with zero upfront cost) on industrial rooftops. These batteries are aggregated into a virtual power plant, enabling operators to earn revenue by participating in grid ancillary services and reducing their energy costs. |
| Hyd-gen | A clean energy startup developing proprietary electrolyzer technology that enables on-site hydrogen production without using zinc or platinum. Aims to provide low-cost green hydrogen. |
| Infinity Cube | A startup offering advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with integrated cooling for data centers and construction sites. Helps reduce electricity costs and improve energy efficiency. |
| Nanyang Biologics | A startup that combines AI-driven drug discovery with natural compound research. Proprietary AI platform DTIGN predicts drug–target interactions with high accuracy. Also building one of the world’s largest tropical plant compound libraries, leveraging Southeast Asia’s biodiversity and traditional medicinal knowledge. Applications span novel therapeutics (oncology, metabolic, and neurodegenerative diseases) and nutraceuticals. |
The curated program will be conducted in person and online for 2 months in Singapore and Japan. In Singapore, participants will have 1-on-1 discussions with Leave a Nest personnel in order to create an action plan to enter the Japanese market. In Japan, participants visit key ecosystem players in Japan who can offer opportunities and give feedback on their action plan.
