Sustainable Food Camp 2025: Pioneering the Future of Food in Asia

Sustainable Food Asia, in collaboration with Leave a Nest Malaysia, is proud to announce the upcoming Sustainable Food Camp 2025 (SFC2025). Themed “Future Foods: Innovating Today, Sustaining Tomorrow”, this flagship event coincides with National Earth Day and marks its third edition in Malaysia.

SFC2025 will take place on April 22, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Resorts World Awana, Genting Highlands, Malaysia, welcoming over 150 international participants. The event aims to build a thriving sustainable food ecosystem through collaboration, innovation, and market expansion across Japan and ASEAN regions.

A Regional Platform for Innovation & Collaboration

SFC2025 will bring together leading technologists, researchers, policymakers, and entrepreneurs from across Asia, the United States, and beyond, including over 50 Sustainable Food Associates from biotech, agritech, and foodtech sectors to explore potential collaborations.

Focus Areas

This year’s program will spotlight three critical agendas for shaping the sustainable food ecosystem:

  • Environmental Improvement
  • Health Access
  • Social Responsibility

 

The event will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, roundtable sessions, innovation showcases, and pitch competition offering USD 10,000 Sustainability Challenge Fund in total for startups with impactful food-tech solutions.

  • Sustainability Challenge Fund: A pitching competition offering a total prize pool of USD 10,000 to innovative teams, encouraging the development of impactful solutions in the food sector by utilizing each individual's strengths.

  • Euglena × Faniapan: Creating innovative HALAL products using Euglena microalgae.
