Leave a Nest Malaysia Announces 2nd Sustainable Aquaculture Summit (SAS) 2025 at Universiti Sains Malaysia

Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd is delighted to announce the return of the Sustainable Aquaculture Summit (SAS) for its second edition, taking place on 8th October 2025 at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang. Building on the momentum of our inaugural summit, SAS 2025 invites researchers, startups, corporates, government agencies, and forward-thinking individuals to come together in pursuit of a more resilient and sustainable blue economy.
With the theme “Charting the Future of Aquaculture: Technologies and Collaboration for a Thriving Blue Economy,” this summit will open space for inspiring discussions, practical solutions, and new partnerships at the intersection of science, technology, and society.
This year’s event is made even more exciting with the presence of our main partner, Innoqua, a pioneering Japanese company known for its cutting-edge aquaculture technologies. Participants can look forward to meeting and learning from a range of Japanese innovators and organizations that are actively shaping the future of sustainable aquaculture.
We welcome all who are passionate about the future of aquaculture to register — whether you're joining as an attendee or would like to contribute as a poster presenter. Poster registration is free, and submissions are open to a wide range of topics, including aquaculture research and innovation, marine and coastal ecosystems, technology applications, biodiversity conservation, and policy or community wellbeing related to aquaculture.
The summit promises a day filled with keynotes, forums, poster sessions, tech sharing, exhibitions, and networking opportunities — all designed to foster meaningful dialogue and actionable outcomes.
Now is the perfect time to be part of this regional platform, where ideas meet action and collaboration knows no borders. Don’t miss the opportunity to engage directly with leading experts and technology providers from Japan, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia.
