Untrodden Forum Malaysia 2025 Strengthens Cross-Border Innovation and Investment
Cyberjaya, Malaysia – The inaugural Untrodden Forum Malaysia 2025, organized by UntroD Capital Asia and supported by Leave a Nest, successfully brought together 71 attendees from Malaysia’s startup and investment ecosystem. The forum marked the first time the Untrodden Forum was held in Malaysia, creating a platform for collaboration between local and international stakeholders in deep-tech innovation.
The session began with opening remarks from Mr. Akitaka Wilhelm Fujii of UntroD Capital Asia, followed by a sharing session by Mr. Daiki Kumamoto on UntroD Capital Asia’s offerings to startups. This set the tone for a day of dialogue, knowledge sharing, and exploration of investment opportunities.

Distinguished guest speakers, including Dr. Wan Raihana Wan Aasim of Malaysia Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), Ms. Lee Sheen Nah of Bursa Malaysia, and Ms. Xiong Jiayi of CC Innovation Singapore, provided insightful perspectives on strengthening innovation and investment linkages in Malaysia and the wider region.

A highlight of the forum was the startup presentation showcase, featuring pioneering ventures from multiple countries: Aerodyne (Malaysia), Accelerated Materials (United Kingdom), Alterno (Vietnam), and Emulsion Flow, Naturanix, and Morus (Japan). Each startup presented innovative solutions, aiming to spark collaborations and attract strategic investments.
