Announcing Universiti Sains Malaysia as Co-Organiser of the Sustainable Aquaculture Summit 2025

We are delighted to announce that Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) will once again serve as our co-organiser for the Sustainable Aquaculture Summit (SAS) 2025. This marks the second collaboration between USM and SAS, continuing our shared commitment to advancing sustainable aquaculture practices and strengthening industry–academia partnerships.

At the heart of this collaboration is the Centre for Marine and Coastal Studies (CEMACS), USM strategically located in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. As a pioneer in the aquaculture sector, particularly in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia, CEMACS has established itself as a premier research centre dedicated to marine and coastal studies. With the expertise of its researchers, lecturers, and postgraduate students, CEMACS functions as a natural laboratory focused on understanding and preserving Malaysia’s rich marine biodiversity. Beyond research, CEMACS plays a vital role in promoting the sustainable management of fisheries, aquaculture, and eco-tourism, ensuring that marine resources are harnessed responsibly for future generations.

For SAS 2025, our theme emphasises technology and industry collaboration, highlighting the importance of bridging academic knowledge with business applications in aquaculture. Together with USM, we look forward to creating an impactful platform that fosters innovation, strengthens partnerships, and drives sustainable growth in the sector.

Join us at SAS 2025! Be part of the conversation shaping the future of aquaculture.
