Leave a Nest at Vietnam Innovation Summit 2025: Driving Science, Startups, and Collaboration

Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. and Leave a Nest Malaysia proudly participated in the Vietnam Innovation Summit 2025, hosted by Innolab Asia at Riverside Palace, Ho Chi Minh City on 6th November 2025- 7th November 2025. The two-day event brought together innovators from across sectors, with over 50 booths representing startups, corporates, universities, and ecosystem partners from Vietnam and abroad with more than 3,000 visitors.

Leave a Nest contributed both as a booth exhibitor and content partner on the Collab Stage, delivering a featured session titled “Leave a Nest: Bridging Science and Society for Global Happiness”.
The session opened with an introduction to Leave a Nest by Dr. Shuichiro Takahashi, followed by insights on the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference (HIC) shared by Dr. Nursyuhada Othman, and a presentation on the Tech Planter platform by Dr. Takumi Jindo.

This was followed by a pitching segment featuring three Tech Planter alumni: Mr. Takatsugu Kobayashi, Consultant at Tenchijin (Japan), Mr. Hai Ho, Co-founder & CEO of Alterno (Vietnam) and Mr. Truong Vo Huu Thien, Founder & CEO of GaraSTEM (Vietnam). Each startup delivered a 5-minute pitch, presenting their impact-driven innovations in fields such as satellite-based land analytics, thermal energy storage, and STEM education for youth.
The session concluded with a panel discussion titled “How Leave a Nest Can Bridge the Platform Between Vietnam and Other Countries,” moderated by Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Managing Director of Leave a Nest Malaysia. The discussion featured perspectives from Vietnamese startup founders on building cross-border collaborations and accessing regional ecosystems.

In parallel with the summit, Leave a Nest Malaysia conducted a pre-visit to prepare for two upcoming flagship programs in Vietnam which is Hyper Interdisciplinary Vietnam 2026, scheduled for 24 January 2026 at Hoa Sen University and Tech Planter Vietnam 2026, with the Demo Day set for 11 July 2026.
The summit provided a timely opportunity to meet with local partners, connect with promising startups, and strengthen Leave a Nest’s commitment to building bridges between science, business, and society in Vietnam and beyond.
