Why Vietnam and Thailand? Building on Strong Momentum Across Southeast Asia

The first KOBASHI MONOZUKURI STANDARD series was held in 2025 in Singapore and Malaysia, attracting approximately 100 participants from deep-tech startups and innovation ecosystems.

Today, Vietnam and Thailand are rapidly emerging as major hubs for advanced manufacturing, robotics, and industrial innovation in Southeast Asia. As more startups move beyond proof-of-concept toward commercialization, founders are increasingly encountering challenges related to manufacturing reproducibility, supplier coordination, quality management, and scalable production design.

KOBASHI MONOZUKURI STANDARD 2026 is designed to address these challenges by sharing practical Japanese manufacturing philosophies and frameworks developed through decades of real factory experience.

Topics covered during the seminar include:

Highway to Connect with Startup Manufacuturing Ecosystem in Japan

Beyond the seminars, a total of 23 startups from Southeast Asia have already visited KOBASHI HOLDINGS in Okayama, Japan. During these visits, startups engaged directly with engineers on manufacturing design, machining, assembly processes, automation, and quality improvement initiatives.

Selected startups demonstrating strong technical potential and manufacturing alignment may also be invited to Okayama, Japan, for deeper engineering consultations, factory visits, and exploration of future collaboration opportunities.
