Leave a Nest and Multimedia University (MMU) Forge Partnership to Empower Young STEM Innovators and Entrepreneurs
Cyberjaya, 22 April 2024 – Leave a Nest is excited to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Multimedia University (MMU), marking a strategic partnership dedicated to supporting young Malaysian scientists and entrepreneurs. The MOU exchange took place during MMU's “Majlis Penyampaian Watikah Lantikan Sekolah Angkat MMU 2024/2025” at the Multipurpose Hall (MPH), solidifying both parties' commitment to fostering innovation and STEM excellence among youth.
As part of this partnership, MMU has been designated a key strategic partner for Leave a Nest's Science Castle in Asia conference this october. This collaboration is aimed at inspiring and nurturing a new generation of STEM talent across the nation.
Key Areas of Collaboration Outlined in the MOU:
- Student and Researcher Startup Support
Leave a Nest will support MMU students and researchers involved in startups by providing mentorship, workshops, and access to Leave a Nest’s extensive network of startup programs. Students will also have opportunities for internships, practical projects, and experiential learning to cultivate entrepreneurial and research skills.
- Marketing and Student Recruitment
To enhance educational outreach, Leave a Nest and MMU will jointly organize programs aimed at attracting prospective MMU students from across Asia and Japan. This collaboration will be further strengthened through initiatives like Science Castle in Asia, expanding opportunities for young researchers and learners.
- Resource Sharing
Leave a Nest and MMU will explore shared access to physical resources, including laboratories and event spaces, to support collaborative projects, hands-on learning, and research development.
