Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference in Malaysia November 2024 a Resounding Success!
The Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference, held last week on November 23rd, marked an astounding success. The event attracted over 200 participants, including researchers, startups, and corporates from both local and international sectors, private and government entities. The conference took place under the aptly chosen theme of “Leveraging Technologies in the Face of Natural Disasters.”
The conference featured an array of compelling sessions tailored to provoke meaningful discussions and knowledge sharing. Two panel forums served as dynamic platforms for esteemed experts to delve into tech innovation in disaster resilience and data integration for effective disaster and forest management. These platforms were well received by the attendees and led to incisive debates.
Furthermore, the HIC Splash Session witnessed the AIMECC team, consisting of Japanese startups and researchers from locally and internationally, pitching their trailblazing technologies, igniting intense interest and enthusiasm amongst the participants. One of the highlights of the event was the Poster Session, which showcased as many as 54 presenters exhibiting their research work and groundbreaking technologies, presenting impactful insights to the participants.
Innovation remained a focal point at the newly featured session called the Mindstorm Session. This interactive engagement saw attendees actively sharing ideas on strengthening existing frameworks for disaster phases, reflecting the event's commitment to collective learning and action.
