Leave a Nest Malaysia Strengthens Research and Education Ties in Indonesia Through MoU with Five Universities

On 7th February 2025, Leave a Nest Malaysia officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with five prominent private higher education institutions in Indonesia. The ceremony took place at ITB Innovation Park and marks a significant milestone in advancing research, education, and innovation collaboration in the region.

The five partner institutions are:

  • Universitas Sangga Buana YPKP
  • Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (UNJANI)
  • Sekolah Tinggi Analis Bakti Asih Bandung
  • Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Husada Cikarang
  • Institut Teknologi Petroleum Balongan (ITPB) Indramayu

 

Through this MoU, Leave a Nest and its partner universities aim to enhance research collaboration in science, technology, and healthcare, while promoting greater knowledge exchange between academia and industry. The partnership will also support student development through joint educational programs, training initiatives, and innovation-driven activities. Ultimately, the collaboration is designed to strengthen local and regional impact by fostering solutions to both societal and industrial challenges.

The MoU was initiated via the Association of Indonesian Private Universities (ABPPTSI) of West Java, Indonesia back in November 2024. The partnership underscores Leave a Nest’s mission to connect researchers, educators, and innovators across Asia to tackle pressing issues and build a sustainable future.

The ceremony was attended by the rector and management team representatives from all five universities and representatives from ABPPTSI, including Dr. Winardi Sani. From Leave a Nest Malaysia, the ceremony was attended by Director, Mr. Ahmad Zaim, and Dr. Hadi Akbar from the Research Division.

Leave a Nest Malaysia is excited to embark on this new chapter of collaboration with the five universities. Together, we look forward to fostering innovation, empowering the next generation of researchers and professionals, and creating lasting impact for Indonesia, Malaysia, and the wider ASEAN region.

Institut Teknologi Petroleum Balongan (ITPB) Indramayu
