A Momentous Milestone for Leave a Nest Philippines, Inc. as they Celebrate their 2nd Anniversary!

Leave a Nest Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of the Leave a Nest Group, recently celebrated its 2nd-year anniversary on March 11, 2023, at the West Avenue Suites with a grand event attended by key leaders of the Leave a Nest Group, such as Dr. Yukihiro Maru, the Group CEO of Leave a Nest Group, and Dr. Yuko Ueno, the General Manager of Group Creation Division, Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. The celebration was held to commemorate the company's and its partners' testament to empowering Filipinos through science and technology.

Leave a Nest Group is a knowledge manufacturing company that aims to tackle global challenges through the use of science and technology. Leave a Nest Philippines Inc., as the youngest subsidiary founded in 2021, has a mission to enhance the state of science and technology eco in the Philippines by unifying different sectors and stakeholders in this ecosystem.

The festive event started with the opening remarks from Dr. Yuko Ueno, who shared the history of how Leave a Nest Philippines Inc. started as a company in the Philippines. This was followed by a short pre-recorded message from the Managing Director of Leave a Nest Philippines Inc., Dr. Yevgeny Aster Dulla, thanking all the attendees and partners of the company.

During the event, Engr. Ronezza Delos Santos, the newly appointed Director of Leave a Nest Philippines Inc., was introduced as the first full-time local director. As one of the pioneer members of the company, she shared that her experiences in the different projects has constantly reminded her of the potential of Filipinos, and she wants to lead and continuously work with the other members and partners to unleash this potential. 

An exciting announcement was also made regarding an investment and partnership agreement with Anihan Technologies (Anitech). Anitech is the fourth startup that Leave a Nest have invested in and it is through the synergies of this partnership that food wastage and loss here in the Philippines will be addressed.

The company's partners, including Ateneo De Manila University (through the Ateneo Intellectual Property Office), Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, and Wela Online Corporation, shared their messages and hopes for further collaborations during the event. Leave a Nest also recognized additional partners, such as the Department of Science and Technology Science Education Institute, First NatGas Power Corp., and Iloilo Science and Technology University. Their contributions and potential for future collaborations were greatlyappreciated.

 

Leave a Nest Philippine's local members also shared their vision, driven by their own personal passion, of how the company will shape society through science and technology. The event concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Yukihiro Maru, expressing his belief that Leave a Nest Philippines Inc. will make a significant impact on Philippine society, leading to a bright future for the country.

The celebration was followed by engaging networking sessions, where a diverse group of industry leaders, startups, academic institutions, and government officials shared their backgrounds and explored potential collaborations. It was a great opportunity to connect with prominent companies such as Globe Telecom, Monde Nissin Corporation, Biofloc Philippines Fishery Inc., Business World, Ford Metal Enterprises, Front Learner’s Inc., and SOLX Technologies, Inc. Government agencies from Quezon City and company lawyers from Flores and Ofrin Law Office also joined the celebration.

The event drew attendees from esteemed universities including Ateneo de Manila University, Bulacan State University, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, and University of Santo Tomas/TomasInno Center. Innovative startups such as Anitech, Dali Innovations, Making.Technology, NanolabsLRC, and Container Living PH were also present. It was an impressive gathering of thought leaders, innovators, and visionaries, all eager to exchange ideas and explore potential partnerships.
