Career Horizons Expand at the Add Venture Forum in the Philippines 2026

An adventure towards their future careers – that was the entire goal of the Add Venture Forum in the Philippines 2026. The event took place at Yuchengo Hall, De La Salle University – Manila, on February 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event was joined by around 200 participants and was co-organized by DLSU Science College Government.

Carrying the theme of embarking on an “adventure” toward future careers, this year’s installation of the annual Add Venture Forum encouraged students to explore paths beyond traditional expectations and discover opportunities aligned with both their academic backgrounds and personal interests.

The program opened with welcome remarks from DLSU Science College Government President Mr. Clark Cuaresma, who challenged attendees to question the boundaries of science and reflect on how far it can take them, particularly in shaping their professional journeys. This was followed by Ms. Krisha Corbo, Project Leader of AVF PH 2026, who shared her own experiences from her time as a student and encouraged participants to find balance between their degree programs and their passions when navigating through their career paths.

To introduce the participating partner companies, the event featured the Career Venture Pitch, a series of concise three-minute presentations. Each company representative provided an overview of their organization, mission, and career opportunities, which served as a guide for students as they selected which mini workshop sessions to attend. This segment offered students a snapshot of the diverse companies represented at the forum and sparked their interest in exploring various professional fields.

At the heart of AVF PH 2026 were its interactive workshop sessions, designed to foster meaningful engagement between students and company representatives. Each workshop accommodated 15–20 participants and was conducted three times, enabling attendees to explore multiple companies and industries. The sessions featured a variety of formats, including seminar-style talks, hands-on demonstrations, and hybrid discussions.

Apex Mining Company captivated students interested in geology and mining by showcasing rock samples from their sites. There were also tech-related companies such as Accenture, which introduced its operations and industry impact through a seminar session. Other companies also focused on mindset-building of attendees in terms of career discovery and technopreneurship, such as Focal Labs,  Philippine Coding Camp, and Tenten’s Academy. Furthermore, SF Group of Companies demonstrated drone technology and its practical applications, while Leave a Nest Philippines facilitated problem-solving discussions focused on addressing societal challenges. Laya Creative Hub provided immersive experiences such as sound therapy, and Monde Nissin shared insights into its corporate objectives and industry outlook.

Through these diverse sessions, students gained a deeper understanding not only of each organization’s work but also of the skills, mindset, and values needed to thrive in various professional environments. The forum also included a dedicated Booth Core Time, where students could freely approach partner companies for extended discussions. This allowed participants who missed certain workshops, or those who wished to continue conversations, to explore career possibilities and collaboration opportunities in a more relaxed setting.

Before the program concluded, students participated in a reflection activity where they shared key insights and takeaways. Many expressed appreciation for the exposure to diverse industries and non-traditional career paths, noting that the event broadened their perspectives and strengthened their confidence in navigating their futures.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Ronrick Arayata, Director of Leave a Nest Philippines, who reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to empowering young individuals to pursue meaningful and purpose-driven careers, and introduced the other projects of the company.
