【16th Jan in Singapore】Dr. Yukihiro Maru, CEO of Leave a Nest Group will give a talk at Indoor Ag-Con Asia 2018
On 16th January, Dr. Yukihiro Maru, CEO of Leave a Nest Group will give a talk at Indoor Ag-Con Asia in Singapore. This is an international conference focusing on plant factory technologies and businesses. Dr. Maru is a Japanese delegate invited as an investor and entrepreneur in agriculture industry. The presentation title is ❝ How will Japan maintain its global leadership in plant factory technology? ❞.
Dr. Maru has established Leave a Nest while he was in graduate school, and received Ph.D. degree in Agriculture. With the vision of “Advancing Science and Technology for Global Happiness”, Leave a Nest is expanding its knowledge manufacturing platform. All of the staffs are researchers with deep knowledge and passion in Science and Technology. We work as Science Bridge Communicators to bring change to the world.
Dr. Maru is a technical advisor to a Tokyo university borne startup company euglena Co.,Ltd., supporting them from establishment, R&D, marketing and grow the company until its IPO. In the plant factory history in Japan, Leave a Nest played a key role to spark the 3rd wave of business trend. Recently we support both startups and major corporates for tech transfer and new business creation. As examples, we have installed plant factory inside SUBWAY sandwich restaurant, and recently invested in a startup FARMSHIP which provides one-stop services from system development to sales.
