Mr. Satoshi Yamamoto
Section Manager, Ricoh Innovation Center in Asia (RICA), Ricoh Co. 

In July 2023, he launched the Ricoh Innovation Center in Asia (RICA) to foster collaboration between Ricoh's R&D, research institutes, and startups in Southeast Asia. He has served as a technical leader and manager in advanced materials application and AI-based materials development acceleration. He also contributed to innovation policy for universities during his tenure at the Bureau for Science and He also contributed to innovation policy for universities during his tenure at the Bureau for Science and Technology Innovation in Japan in 2020.

 

Mr. Thatchanawat Phiriyathanaphat
Team Leader, Digital Startup Institute, Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa)

Mr. Thatchanawat Phiriyathanaphat is an expert in law and government mechanism development, with experience spanning both the public and private sectors. His background includes work in the automotive plastics industry at Mitsui & Co., Ltd., legal practice in civil, criminal, and administrative cases, and his current role as Team Leader at the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa). He specializes in regulatory frameworks, operational efficiency, and digital startup promotion. Notably, he has contributed to initiatives such as Digital Provider registration and investment incentives, playing a key role in strengthening Thailand’s digital economy.

 

Dr. Pichaya Pattanasattayavong 
CEO & CTO, Cleantech & Beyond

Co-founder, CEO & CTO of Cleantech & Beyond, which originated from research conducted in the Electronic Devices and Materials Innovation Laboratory, School of Molecular Science and Engineering, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand, where he is the laboratory director. Holding a PhD in Solid-State Physics from Imperial College London, Pichaya has more than 15 years of experience in frontier research, specialised in nano-engineering, advanced functional materials, and electronic devices. Passionate about advancing basic research into practical, innovative technology. With deep knowledge in science and effective communication skills linking between the academic world and the commercial enterprises, he works closely with experts from a wide range of backgrounds to develop promising and marketable technologies that would serve real demand.

Mr. Ambrose Chia
Assistant Manager, Leave a Nest Singapore

Ambrose graduated with a Master’s degree in Technopreneurship and Innovation from Nanyang Technological University. He holds a Bachelor degree in human Factors in Safety from Singapore University of Social Sciences. As a member of Leave a Nest Frontier Development Division, Ambrose hopes to strengthen the science and deep technology startup ecosystem through cross border business development and expansion of startups. He is project leader of Leave a Nest activities in Thailand and serves as managing director of 144 Ventures, a pre-seed investment arm of Leave a Nest.
