Plasma Innovations team was crowned as Grand Winner of TECH PLANTER in Thailand!
Leave a Nest Singapore successfully concluded TECH PLANTER Thailand 2026 Demo Day on 18 July 2026 at the Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. The event brought together researchers, startups, industry leaders, investors, universities, and government agencies to discover and accelerate Thailand's next generation of deep-tech innovations.
TECH PLANTER is Leave a Nest's flagship deep-tech platform dedicated to discovering and nurturing science- and technology-based innovations that solve deep societal challenges. More than a pitching competition, the program provides opportunities for mentorship, business matching, technology collaboration, and commercialization through the Leave a Nest ecosystem.
This year, 46 applications were received from researchers, startups, and innovators across Thailand. Following a rigorous selection process, 9 finalist teams , 6 Lightning Talk teams and 14 Poster Presenters were invited to present their innovations before an international panel of judges representing industry, academia, government, and investment organizations from Thailand and Japan.
Grand Winner
After an exciting day of presentations and discussions, the judges selected Plasma Innovation Co., Ltd. as the Grand Winner of TECH PLANTER Thailand 2026.
Plasma Innovation impressed the judges with its Plasma-Activated Liquids (PAL) technology for microbial reduction and low-chemical processing. The technology offers an innovative solution for food safety, agriculture, and healthcare by utilizing plasma-activated liquids to reduce microbial contamination while minimizing chemical usage, demonstrating strong commercialization potential and significant societal impact.

Leave a Nest Award and Corporate Awards
In addition to the Grand Winner, several outstanding teams were recognized by Leave a Nest and corporate partners for their innovative technologies and potential for future collaboration.

Winner: GlycoSphere
GlycoSphere was presented with the Leave a Nest Award for its recyclable enzyme platform that converts underutilized sugarcane bagasse into high-value prebiotic oligosaccharides, supporting circular bioeconomy and sustainable food innovation.
The team will also receive an invitation to present at TECH PLANTER Asia Final 2026, where outstanding teams from across Asia gather to showcase their technologies and explore international collaboration opportunities.
JT Award
Winner: Hillkoff Co., Ltd.
Hillkoff was recognized for its Coffogenic™ Bioactive Coffee Fruit Extract Technology, which transforms upcycled coffee biomass into sustainable functional ingredients for preventive healthcare, demonstrating an innovative approach to value creation from agricultural by-products.

Soken Chemical Award
Winner: Nano Coating Tech Co., Ltd.
Nano Coating Tech received the Soken Chemical Award for its nano-coating technology that improves infrastructure performance while reducing maintenance costs through energy-efficient and self-cleaning surface coatings.

Celebrating Thailand's Deep-Tech Ecosystem
TECH PLANTER Thailand 2026 highlighted the breadth and quality of Thailand's innovation ecosystem, with finalist teams presenting solutions across three strategic themes:

- Regenerative Bioeconomy
- Biomass to Bioactives
The event also featured Lightning Talk presentations, poster sessions, and networking opportunities that encouraged collaboration between researchers, startups, corporations, investors, and government organizations.
