Relocation of Osaka Headquarters and launch of Kansai Development Division

Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. announces the relocation of its Osaka headquarters.

The Leave a Nest Osaka headquarters was established in Minato-ku, Osaka City, in April 2018. Since May of that year, it has also been working as a certified location under the Venture Growth Promotion Program of the Osaka City Innovation Base Location Promotion Subsidies, promoting research and development and business creation. In addition to partners who share Leave a Nest's vision, the company has been encouraging projects in collaboration with local partners such as schools, research institutions, corporates, and local factories in Minato-ku and Taisho-ku.

In August 2019, Leave a Nest launched the “Osaka TECH PLANTER” program, which aims to bring technology ventures overseas to Southeast Asia to address local issues. The company is working on “inbound globalization” by promoting expansion into Asia through collaborations with large companies, development support from local factories, and management and business support from Leave a Nest.

In November 2020, in order to accelerate these efforts even further, Leave a Nest established a Kansai Development Division at its Osaka headquarters. The company aims to build an ecosystem for solving deep issues with global partners by connecting Japan's deep technology to Southeast Asia, and aims to make Osaka and the Kansai region a “counter-culture” to the Tokyo metropolitan area by 2030.
