Sharing careers with university students aiming to go abroad.

Students from two universities visited Leave a Nest Singapore on 6 and 12 September. They are students from Seinan Gakuin University and Chuo University in Japan. The students have their sights set on working abroad in the future.

During their short stay, we shared a case study of one of our employees, Ms. Maiko Miyashita, as a case study of working abroad.

As one career model for women, she shared how she has developed her career after university graduation. Ms. Miyashita has been living in Singapore for six years. It was interesting for university students to learn how she has spent her time until now working abroad.

Students also asked lively questions about working abroad specifically. By answering them with detailed answers, they seemed to have deepened their understanding of the topic.

Keeping a full-time job while parenting children is not easy. But it is worth it. So, whether you work overseas or in Japan, she encourages students to ride the waves of life and create their own career, she concluded.
