Leave a Nest Singapore is thrilled to announce an engaging and innovative workshop for children aged 6 to 8 years old. This unique program, themed “The Art in Science”, will take young minds on an unforgettable journey to explore the intersection of art and science. The mission is to create a lasting object that serves as a reminder of children’s curiosity in science and the joy of discovering that science can be fun.

Workshop Objectives:

  1. Learn the structure and composition of leaves through interactive activities.
  2. Create a leaf skeleton and transform it into art using cyanotype techniques.
  3. Experience the joy of discovery and creativity through science.

The workshop introduces children to Anna Atkins, the first female botanist who pioneered cyanotype photography, blending science and art in a timeless manner.
