At the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference Singapore 2025, hosted by Leave a Nest, we will be holding a session entitled “Healthcare Innovation: Technology for a Better Tomorrow” (Session Partner: AiRato, Inc.).
Trust, Behavior, and the Human Side of Technology in Medicine
As artificial intelligence, robotics, and predictive analytics continue to transform healthcare, an equally important question arises: how do humans adapt, trust, and collaborate with these technologies?
At HIC Singapore 2025, Panel 4 – Healthcare Innovation: Technology for a Better Tomorrow will bring together three key innovators shaping the future of medicine, Airato, NDR Medical, and Stratificare, to explore how technology and humanity can coexist and complement one another in care.
Rather than focusing solely on what technology can do, the panel will delve into how patients, clinicians, and innovators can build trust in an age where machines can diagnose, operate, and even comfort. From AI diagnostics to image-guided robotics and predictive health analytics, the conversation will reframe healthcare innovation through a behavioral and human-centered lens.

Dr. Noriyuki Kadoya
Founder & CTO, AiRato
Dr. Noriyuki Kadoya is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of AiRato, Inc., a Sendai-based radiotherapy AI start-up revolutionising cancer treatment planning by cutting preparation time from hours to minutes while maintaining precision and safety. He also serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine and as a Hospital Lecturer at Tohoku University Hospital. With extensive research experience at Stanford University and UC Davis, Dr. Kadoya is recognised for his pioneering work in deep learning–driven radiation therapy, radiomics, and adaptive radiotherapy innovations that bridge technology and clinical practice.
Mr. Alan Goh
Co-Founder & CEO, NDR Medical Technology
Alan received his B.Eng from Nanyang Technological University with specification in Mechatronic and a graduate diploma in Medtech Manufacturing. He started his research career in A*Star, followed by development in Delphi Automotive. Before starting NDR, Alan was involved in commercialization and incubation of Medtech/Biotech start-ups in AITventures. Alan is appointed Chairman of APACMed Start-up committee and multiple Sports and Health organizations.
Dr. Anthony Chua
Co-Founder & CEO, StratifiCare
Co-Founder of StratifiCare Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based medical diagnostics company. StratifiCare™ strives to become the leading provider of innovative world-class quality IVD solutions to empower personalized medicine for tomorrow. With a PhD in Virology, Anthony is currently taking a severe Dengue prediction technology developed in his postgraduate laboratory to market.
Dr. Kihoko Tokue
Managing Director, Leave a Nest Singapore
Dr. Tokue is Managing Director of Leave a Nest Singapore and Founder of Leave a Nest Malaysia. She was born in Tokyo but raised in Southeast Asia, studied for a bachelor's degree in America and then moved to Australia for Master and PhD degrees, carrying out fieldwork. Currently she is creating a platform in ASEAN to nurture the next generation of innovators and startups involving business development partners from industry. Her dream is to one day bring a change to a world with advancement of science and technology with true understanding and appreciation for nature.
