Announcement of Finalists and Lightning Talk Teams for TECH PLANTER in the Philippines 2026

Leave a Nest Philippines proudly announces the Finalists and Lightning Talk Teams for TECH PLANTER in the Philippines 2026.
This year’s TECH PLANTER Demo Day in the Philippines will be held on May 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frassati Auditorium, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Building, University of Santo Tomas, España Boulevard, Sampaloc, Manila City, where selected teams will present their deep tech solutions addressing critical societal challenges.
TECH PLANTER in the Philippines continues to serve as a platform for researchers, startups, and innovators working to translate science and technology into real-world impact. Through this program, teams are connected to Leave a Nest’s global Knowledge Platform, enabling access to mentorship, collaboration opportunities, and potential investment pathways across academia, industry, and government sectors.
This year, the program received 46 applications from teams across the Philippines, showcasing a diverse range of deep tech innovations spanning agriculture, environment, health, and emerging technologies. As the program enters its 10th year in the Philippines, it reflects the continued growth of the country’s deep tech ecosystem and the increasing number of teams pursuing science-based solutions to address pressing societal issues.
TECH PLANTER in the Philippines 2026 Demo Day Finalists
Following a rigorous evaluation process, nine (9) teams have been selected as Finalists. These teams will compete for the Grand Winner Award and the Leave a Nest Award, with the opportunity to represent the Philippines at the TECH PLANTER Asia Final.

All participating teams will undergo mentoring sessions with Leave a Nest members to refine their communication and strengthen their pitches in preparation for Demo Day. These sessions aim to help teams better articulate their technologies and engage with ecosystem partners from industry, academia, and government.
As Leave a Nest Philippines continues its work in strengthening collaborations within the innovation ecosystem, initiatives such as TECH PLANTER remain central to building meaningful connections between research and real-world application.
