Bridging Nature and Technology Through Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Nature has long been a source of inspiration for scientific discoveries and technological advancements. From biodiversity and natural resources to sustainable materials and environmental solutions, the integration of nature and technology presents significant opportunities to address pressing societal and environmental challenges.
HICMY 2026 aims to create a platform where knowledge from different disciplines can converge to generate new ideas, foster meaningful partnerships and accelerate the translation of research into practical applications. Unlike conventional academic conferences, HICMY encourages participants to look beyond their respective fields and explore collaboration across academia, industry, startups and government organisations.
This year’s conference will focus on three key areas:
- Nature-Inspired Innovation: Exploring how biodiversity, natural resources and biological systems can inspire new scientific discoveries, products and technologies.
- Sustainable Technology: Advancing innovative solutions that support environmental conservation, resource efficiency and sustainable development.
- Cross-Disciplinary Research: Connecting researchers, technology developers and industry stakeholders from diverse fields to develop collaborative projects and address real-world challenges.
Connecting Researchers, Industry and Emerging Technologies
HICMY 2026 will feature opportunities for knowledge sharing, research presentations, interdisciplinary discussions and networking among participants from various sectors.
Through these interactions, the conference seeks to encourage the exchange of scientific knowledge, identify potential research and commercialisation opportunities and facilitate collaborations that extend beyond the conference itself.
Researchers and innovators will have the opportunity to showcase their work, engage with industry representatives and discover how their research can contribute to the development of new technologies and solutions.
Call for Poster Presenters and Participants
Leave a Nest Malaysia warmly invites researchers, academicians, postgraduate students, startups and innovators to participate in HICMY 2026 as poster presenters.
