Leave a Nest to participate as panelist at Japan-Malaysia Conference
Shohei Michael Maekawa, Global Platform Development Division, Director of Globalbridge Laboratory of Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. has participated to “The 36th JAMECA-MAJECA Joint Conference and Malaysia Business Forum” on November 6th 2019.
This event was organized by Japan-Malaysia Economic Association (JAMECA), Malaysia- Japan Economic Association (MAJECA) and JETRO, inviting many government officials and members from private sectors from both countries.
On the day, several plenary sessions and special session were organized and Leave a Nest has participated to one of the panel discussion to discuss about collaboration between Japan-Malaysia for building strong digital innovation ecosystem. During panel discussion, Leave a Nest has discussed about some of the activities relating to education and startup support that has been done and how Leave a Nest would like to expand it in Malaysia.
The event also welcomed, Hon. YAB Tun Dr. Mahatir, Prime Minister of Malaysia to give keynote speech and Q&A session with the audience.
About JAMECA-MAJECA Joint Conference
It has started since 1977, aiming to deepen the mutual understanding of both countries as well as further enhance the business, investment, economic cooperation, promotion of tourism and cultural exchange between two countries. The first conference has been conducted in November 1977 in Kuala Lumpur and since then, joint meeting has been conducted every year alternately between Japan and Malaysia.
