Leave a Nest Malaysia Trained 17 Junior Roboticists at MJIIT UTM

Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. completed its first Robotics workshop for Sekolah Menengah Sains Seri Puteri, Kuala Lumpur (SESERI) on 11 November 2017. It was a one-day workshop for 17 students and jointly organized with ikohza Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIRO), MJIIT-UTM. Three MJIIT-UTM undergraduate students from Innokai Team and a student from HELP University also became teaching assistants during the workshop.

Students from SESERI were given an introduction to the world of robots and its related applications. During hands on session, the students worked in pairs and managed to successfully assemble a line follower robot. Each team then raced their robot on a special track. The fastest robot that won the race finished the lap within 20 seconds !

Students were also taken to visit the CAIRO Lab to see advanced robot, manufacturing robot and drone. At the closing ceremony, IR. Dr. Zool H. Ismail from CAIRO presented the winning certificates and all students received their certificate of participation from Mr. Abdul Hakim from Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Congratulations to all diligent students from SESERI ! It was a day of new knowledge discovery for the students and we hope this workshop will spark their curiosity and interest to learn more about Robotics. Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. will continue to strive in nurturing young scientists and engineers together with our partners. See you in our next program!

In March 2018, Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn.Bhd. will open its very first SCIENCE CASTLE in MALAYSIA to gather top young researchers throughout the country. We invite schools to send their representatives to this inaugural SCIENCE CASTLE in MALAYSIA 2018 !
