WiSE 2025 Startup Pitching Finalists Announced: Empowering Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (April 2025) – WiSE 2025 proudly announces the opening of its highly anticipated Startup Pitching session, providing a unique platform for startups, entrepreneurs, and innovators to present their ideas to a distinguished audience of corporate leaders, ecosystem builders, and investors.

Held in conjunction with International Digital Women’s Day, WiSE 2025 carries the theme “Innovative Sustainable Growth Opportunities” and will take place on 5th May 2025 at Asia Pacific University, Kuala Lumpur. The pitching session is designed to connect startups with the right support to scale their impact, strengthen innovation, and foster collaborations across borders.

After careful selection, the following 17 startups have been shortlisted to pitch at WiSE 2025:

Ilia Anisa

Nor Ilia Anisa is a member of the Human Development Division at Leave A Nest Malaysia. She graduated from Universiti Malaysia Pahang with a degree in chemical engineering before pursuing her PhD at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She began her career as a research officer at the Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT-UTMKL) and later transitioned to an engineering and technology solutions company, where she served as a project manager for four years. Her journey then led her to become an academician at a private university, where she taught chemical engineering students. Her teaching portfolio included subjects such as thermodynamics, process plant design, and sustainability in engineering. She was also actively involved in research and societal initiatives. Throughout her career, she observed the gap between the skills required by industry and those possessed by graduating students, which inspired her to join Leave A Nest. She is passionate about nurturing young talents and empowering them to unlock their full potential.
